My little sis is now legal worldwide....
And so, in celebration, I wrote her this poem.
This is for 'the kid'
The Pit.

Holy crap!...... You grew up fast!
It seems like just yesterday
You were screaming from your crib, all night long
And bribing me to get things your way
You were such a cute kid, with your long ringlet curls
And eyes that could suck in a crowd
The most pinch-able butt, in those damn purple pants
Still gets me laughing out loud
I’ll never forget when you devoured that peach
And your teeth cracked the pit right in two
Stef and I did what any big sisters would have done
To a child as bratty as you
‘Did any of the inside get into your mouth?’
You nodded and we let out a sigh
‘Its poison!’ we said, as we both shook our heads
Then we told you you were going to die.
Your eyes were the widest that I’ve ever seen
And your face showed nothing but fear
We gave you a hug and said our goodbyes
For your death was now very near
You hung your head low and went to your room
And that’s when you started to cry
The mod poked her head in and asked you ‘what’s wrong?’
And you told her you were going to die.
Now I know what you’re thinking,
That WE’RE CRUEL, sick and twisted!
But there’s one little part that I missed
The punishment we got from the Madre herself
Made us wish that WE DIDN’T EXIST.
So all in all a lesson was learned
And I did actually feel really bad
And you didn’t die, but we sure wanted to
Cuz the mod was more than slightly mad.
Today you’re 21, and all grown up
With a baby as beautiful as you
You are one of the strongest humans I know
Life is hard, but you always pull thru
Now drive to the States and order a drink
Cuz you’re officially legal worldwide
And if you get wasted and have to go pee
Just move your underwear to one side!!!!!!
Aahahahahahahahahaahahhha
